I just know I'll regret this ...

So [livejournal.com profile] roga posted a link to the incredibly fun-sounding Valentine Cardathon, of which apparently there are several being done around the internets this year.

I love the idea, but I don't really 'ship any pairings in my current fandoms. It sounded too fun to pass up, though. So, I'm going to do a variant.

For the first ten people who post (give or take a few), I'll mail you a card that's written in character to another character. If that's confusing, see the Valentine cardathon rules at the above link ... it's the exact same deal, except this can be gen instead of pairing-focused (and I'm writing them all, rather than pairing people up to exchange cards with each other).

For example, if you ask for a card from Jeannie to Teyla, it could be another card in the "Postcards..." series. It MAY be a Valentine's card, but it won't necessarily HAVE to be. However, regardless, I will try to get them all out by Valentine's Day.

Posts are screened, not for secrecy, but to protect people's snail-mail addresses from prying eyes.

If you would like me to send you a card, please post the following:

1. Your real name and snail-mail address, so that I know where to send it.

2. Which character you want it to be FROM and who you want it to be TO. SGA only, please! If you specifically WANT it to be pairing-focused, please say so; otherwise, what you'll get will be in character for the relationship that they have on the show. So, if you request John and Rodney, unless you specifically ASK for a McShep card, what you'll get will be gen. (And I'm sure I'll have to do some fancy mental footwork to come up with a scenario in which John would actually send Rodney a card ...)

3. If you want to give me a prompt, you can (e.g., "Rodney and Katie's first Valentines", "Get-well card from John to Rodney"). I can't absolutely promise to stick to the scenario you give me, but I'll try.

Okay! I'll lock this after I get ten requests. Aaaand ... go! :)

ETA: All requests filled! Thank you!

ETA2: I can't reply directly to your comments because that'll unscreen them -- but if you left a comment, you're getting one, and overseas is fine.
