The trouble is, I don't seem to be capable of writing anything *short* ... I am hoping, anyway, that the donators would rather get a long story kind of late, than a short story soon.

I had no idea what sort of response I would get, but this is truly succeeding beyond my wildest hopes. You guys are FANTASTIC.

If you want to see the burned house, mutual friend Lisa took some pictures and posted them here. Strong stomach alert for these. It's not burned to the ground, but it's gutted, and Lisa says that all the items of furniture, etc. that managed to survive the fire are basically unusable due to smoke and water damage. The house is pretty much unsalvageable; it looks as if it will have to be bulldozed and built again. In a way, that's worse than not having it there at all ...

EDIT: Rather than separating the stories and the art, I've just grouped them all under the category of "donation incentives". So that covers both fanfics and original art ... and, frankly, whatever else anyone comes up with that they want. And yes, because I was asked via email, I am still taking requests. You can see the speed at which I am progressing, so that gives you an idea of how long it may take you to receive your donation incentive, however. All I can say in my own defense is, I swear I am writing as fast as I can! *grin*
