Happy new year!

My annual new year's story is up! I started doing this in 2016 and hope to keep it up as long as I can; every New Year's Eve I post something about the fictional characters in one of my current fandoms celebrating the changeover of the year.

(I used to also have "written on New Year's Eve" as one of my criteria the first couple of years, but this got to be too much pressure to put on myself as the fics got longer.)

Countdown (MASH, 3300 wds, gen, post-canon)
On New Year's Eve in Boston, the winter after the armistice, Charles gets invaded.

In other news, I'm having a pleasant and laid-back New Year's Eve. [personal profile] candyheartsex signups just opened, and I'm planning to sign up for it, and also plan to be around DW a little more. I desperately needed to simply fall down a hole for December, which I basically did. And now I'm picking myself up and getting back to life, work, and all those other things.

Ahahaha. I think I mostly only mention it in the author's notes to the fic, so it might not be terribly evident that I'm doing it. The very first one was a short Agent Carter ficlet in 2016, and then I just kept doing it ever since.
