Happy winter solstice!
It was my intention to take a picture of the sun at solar noon on the solstice, which is about 1pm at this time of year, but this was thwarted by the weather. It was cloudy, I went to the store and missed the ONE bit of actual sunsettish color (it was just fading as I came out), so I ended up taking a picture of the driveway on my way home about 2:30 or so.

To be fair, our driveway is more scenic than some.
The days get longer from here! Unless you're in the southern hemisphere, in which case I hope you're having a nice summer and way less snow than this.

Speaking from the southern hemisphere, we're having a disgustingly hot summer, no snow at all, high humidity but, thank goodness, an ice cube maker. :D

And yes, we're having a pretty nice summer down under :) (Honestly, it's cooler than usual, meaning I can actually SLEEP at night.)
