The plot of the episode involves a fast-growing, fast-healing alien life form kept prisoner and vivisected alive as part of a meat-farming operation. It does not survive. I think the episode in general is sensitively handled (I mean, by Torchwood standards), and the characters are trying to rescue it, but it is probably one of those things that's going to trip some people's squick threshold.
