SUPER easy! Really! If you take the photos with your phone, and they are stored in the 'gallery'? Then just open Insta, tap the + in a box (middle symbol), then you have a choice of picking a photo you've taken (gallery) (scroll upwards to view your photos and tap on the one you want) or taking a photo (I find this to be a slower shutter speed, so I upload ones I've already taken) or video. I haven't used the video, so I can't help you there.
