No, I think you were perfectly clear (and besides, I doubt if anyone in their right mind would jump to conclusions and write Spike/Ein without going back and reading the instructions veeerrrrry thoroughly XD). If you wanted to be even more unambiguous, you could replace the "/" with "&", which is usually what I do when I want to specify friendship ("Spike & Ed", etc), but I think your letter makes it clear what you want.
