Ginger seems at least vaguely interested in (...though perhaps it's more like Is Commonly Beset By) nature, and we know Bertie is a strong swimmer from Takes Charge, in that scene where he goes "if I can't swim a couple hundred yards I deserve to drown" about a cold lake and Biggles instantly morphs into the Mom Friend :-D
