So apparently I have a new hobby
Back when I was in anime fandom (lo these many years ago) I was kinda into buying action figures. I lost interest for a long while, except for occasionally buying one that I just couldn't say no to (like the Misty one which you'll see below). But I got back into it in a major way with the Defenders ones. I couldn't help myself. THEY'RE SO CUTE. ♥ At this point I have all of the main characters except for Matt. I'm holding out for one with his mask off; there are several different Daredevils, but the only one that shows his face is a limited-edition Comicon one that's expensive and I don't really like it; I want one where he's in street clothes, not the Daredevil costume. (This is the Matt one and believe me, it's the best of a generally terrible bunch.)
But I have the other three in their Netflix versions, and have also picked up a Netflix Claire and Colleen, as well as the comic Misty that I already had since I'm a fan of hers (and this particular subset of the comics in general) from way back in the 80s. There is no TV Misty action figure (yet?).
And, uh. Then I decided I needed accessories for them. I am just at the beginning of this slippery slope but I'm starting to be able to see that it's a loooonng slippery slope and at the bottom is me turning into the dollhouse equivalent of a cat lady, with each dollhouses full of superheroes.
But at the moment I'm having a great time picking out furniture on Amazon and Ebay, and
rachelmanija made me some custom accessories out of Fimo clay when she was here, and they are AMAZING.
See all the adorableness under the cut!
Okay, first of all, here's the whole gang I've collected so far:

Jessica, Colleen, Danny, Luke, Claire, and Misty, who is sitting on the box o' fake heroin prop that I kinda ... bought in the Netflix prop auctions a couple months back.
Tiny!Jessica is BY FAR my favorite. The sculpt on her is absolutely perfect, complete with a highly detailed mini leather jacket, a really well-done face, and a tendency to realistically look like she's sprawling and lounging on things:

What are you doing with that cactus, Jessica?! (It's a mini!Danny cactus that Rachel made for me out of Fimo.)
Speaking of cacti ... okay, so, I don't have a Ward figure, because he's not popular enough for his own figure and probably never will be. I'm planning eventually to improvise my own, because let's face it, Ward's overall look is pretty generic. A 6" action figure of a white guy with slicked-back dark hair wearing a suit CANNOT be hard to find. I'm thinking I'll probably use a John Wick one, because Keanu Reeves looks remarkably like Tom Pelphrey in the face.
But in the meantime, here's my solution:

Poor Danny. (Context.)
Anyway, moving along - LOOK AT THESE AMAZING THINGS that Rachel made me!

There is a potted succulent, as the cactus count keeps growing.

There is an absolutely AMAZING version of that hideous little clay pot that Danny used to prove his identity in the first season, which, being Danny, he probably still has around somewhere.

The best thing, though, is SHE MADE ME A TINY BOX OF FAKE HEROIN. Complete with the little packet of fake heroin itself. Pictures can't really do justice to how absolutely tiny this thing is.

Though you can kinda get an idea when you see the characters holding it - keep in mind they're only 6" tall!

Claire looks awfully happy about her heroin there. You do you, Claire.
I keep trying to put mini!Danny into various yoga poses but he's not flexible enoughwhich is kind of appropriate, honestly.
So yeah, there will probably be more tiny Defenders updates as I collect and/or make new things for them.
